If your dog struggles to focus around distractions, gets overexcited, reactive, needs to sharpen some basic skills & obedience or you are simply looking for a safe, welcoming and fun space to do things with your dog… then this club style class is designed for you.

Scent, Skills & Social is a 2.5 hour structured session combining:

Scent work for calm focus and mental stimulation
Obedience skills you can actually use in real life
Controlled social exposure to build better behaviour around dogs and distractions
Owner discussion breaks to help you truly understand your dog

What makes this different?

And just as importantly…You’ll learn why your dog behaves the way they do—and what to do about it.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Your dog won’t be “on” the whole time, because that’s not how real learning works.

Instead, we use a blended system:

The class is a “club” format meaning there is no set number of weeks to commit to, you simply book in as often as you want, the more you attend the greater your progress but you have the flexibility to fit it around your life
Dogs work in groups and occasionally solo too
The training environment will often be outdoors (so dress appropriately) and occasionally indoors
We will utilise rest periods for the dogs where they will return to your car to prevent overwhelm
During rest times we will have a group discussion (best to bring a chair and a cuppa with you)
Training will blend designated training challenges, tutorials, real world scenarios and more
Guided coaching & self learning opportunities throughout

This creates better learning, calmer dogs, and real progress

STEP 1 - ORDER YOUR STARTER KIT & COMPLETE THIS FREE ONLINE PREP WORK COURSE

To get the most out of your scent training, you will need to complete some work at home first, don’t worry if you do not receive the kit you order before your first class, but do make sure you have it ordered so you can hit the ground running afterwards!

This will lay the foundations for your dog by taking an unknown scent and associating it with something positive.

STEP 2 - BOOK ON TO A CLASS

FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE ORDERED YOUR EQUIPMENT FOR THE STEP 1 HOMEWORK,
IF IT ARRIVES BEFORE YOUR FIRST CLASS, PLEASE COMPLETE AS MANY DAYS AS POSSIBLE OF THE EXERCISE BEFORE THE CLASS.

2.5 Hour Skills Scent & Social Club Class

Please remember to dress for the weather and have suitable footwear for working in both outdoor and indoor areas including gravel and grass.

I also recommend bringing a camping chair and a travel mug of your favourite beverage for our breaks.

Reactive, Over excitable, nervous and social dogs are welcome
Class is blended which will include time working in groups (with controlled distances) and occasionally solo
Your dog must be comfortable in your vehicle when on rest
Bring food and toy rewards for your dog and fresh water
This is a pay per session club not a set course, so you can book in as often as you wish giving you flexibility
Enables us to support you with any troubleshooting
