When it comes to supporting your dog with reactivity, it can feel like an overwhelming minefield of conflicting advice. So we like to keep things simple, accessible, fun and most importantly, successful!

Every dog is different, from their genetics to their motivations, their experiences to training, health to diet and more, all impact the causes and also the routes out of reactivity.

However, you are a big part of it too! We need to ensure you have the confidence, knowledge, skills and support to navigate and enjoy the journey.

So here at Great Paws we have put together a selection of services which can be taken on their own or for bigger benefits, used in combination to help you achieve real progress and a life best suited to you and your canine companion!

"Reactive" Social Walk

These 45-60 minute walks (within a 90 min booking) are designed to help push your existing training forward. The perfect compliment to our other reactive training services.

Join us for a supportive social walk designed for those dogs who struggle around other dogs.

Under the direction of the trainer, you will give each other plenty of space to enable you to enjoy your walk whilst helping your dog relax into the environment and support their training around other dogs and real world distractions.

Rather than "getting out of dodge" should your dog have a bark, surrounded by like minded supportive people, we can manage the walk to help you and your dog understand how to enjoy being around other dogs in a low social pressure environment that supports you and your dogs overall confidence whilst giving you lots of opportunities to practice your training where it counts, out in public!

All walks will take place in a 20 mile radius of Darlington so you must be prepared to travel on the date of the session you book, exact location will be provided to you by 21:00 the day before your booked session.
